He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Marie and Donald J. Floyd; his parents-in-law, Cecilia and Stanley Jockemeck; and his brother-in-law Glenn Conway.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his sons, David (Heidi) and Donnie (Tracy); his stepchildren, Jennifer (Josh), Kyle and Dave; his siblings, Donna (Gunner), Mark, Barbara, Patricia and Terrence; his sisters-in-law, Lena Conway and Kathy House; his grandchildren, Mallory, Chelsea, Cody, Nathan and Owen; his cousin Paul; Ava. He is also survived by his family and the fantastic group of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Faith Chapel (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's honor may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
