It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Arthur Warner (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Charles A. Warner; and his brother Paul J. Warner. He is survived by : his mother Mary Warner (Barrett); his siblings, Dolores Baldwin (Michael) and Charles V. Warner (Cathy); his nieces and nephews, Tina, Mary, Michael Baldwin, Andrew and Lindsay Warner; and his great-nieces, Haley, Kayla, Hannah, Clara and Gloria.

Covid protocols will be practiced at the service.

As per Derek's wish, donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Patient Care Fund – Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.
