He was predeceased by: his father Donald Brown; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Lewie Maxwell. He is survived by: his mother Effie Brown; his wife Kimberly; his son Ryan (Tracy); his grandchildren, Arianna, Alexander and Sophia; his son Dustin (Cindy); his grandchildren, Caius, Zander and Denyra; his nephew Graham; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Sawchuck (Marjorie), Donna Howley (Doug) and Cathy Hutchings. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church (9 Brookland St, Sydney, NS B1P5B1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donnie's memory may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Transplant Association.
