With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Bona (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Lower l'Ardoise, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 30, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mothers, Eva Bona (Martell) and Lucy Gillis (Digou); her children, Jackie Young (Howie), Sheri Ford (Bryan), Vicky Murphy and Terry Murphy (Rita); and her siblings, Mary Ann White (Russ), Jackie Pinhorn (Wayne), Helen MacLennan, Mabel AuCoin (Doug), Emily Keough, Alice, Della, Claire, Ronald, Ivan, Wallace and Eddie Gillis. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
