In loving memory of Dorothy Mae Dingwall Mombourquette (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who departed this world on September 22, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Daye and Mary Daye (Savory); her former husband Ellsworth "Lal" Dingwall; her husband Danny Mombourquette; and her children, Jodi Milley and Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Shorrocks, Murray Dingwall (Joan) and Lloyd Dingwall (Donna); her sister Catherine Van De (Neil); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Melissa, Kerri, Murray, Billy, Amanda, Renée, Mitchel, Kirk and Haley; and her siblings, Alan, Vivian Cluett and Robert "Bert" Daye. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
