She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Eileen Burns (Norkett) and Bachelor of Arts; her husband Ken Garland; her brothers, Peter Burns (Elizabeth), Frank Burns (Myrene) and Joseph Burns; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Garland and Barry Garland (Jennifer). She was also cherished by nephews and nieces.
