It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen Mary MacKinnon (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas of Sydney and Bridget Whiffen (Murphy) of Sydney; her husband William'Billy'MacKinnon; and her siblings, Frank, Thomas, Vince, Gerald, Pat, Raymond, James Cahill, Alfred Mahar, Margaret O'Dea and Mary Guymer.
She is survived by: her godson Kevin Moss (Harriett); her great-niece Amanda MacLeod (Allan); and her sisters-in-law, Melinda, Sharon, Carol and Sis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pier Community Funeral Home (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1).
Donations in memory of Eileen may be made to a charity of one's choice.
