He was predeceased by : his wife Sheila Marie (Carroll); his daughter Shauna Martell; and his siblings, Mary, Rita, Cleo, Sid, Earl, Burt, Roy and Stan.

He is survived by : his sons, Emmett (D'anne), Tanglewood, Brian (Paula) and Sydney; his son-in-law Terry Martell; his sister Anna Gillis; his grandchildren, TJ (Melanie), Brendon (Janell), Sarah (Brennan), Hannah (Jackson) and Brian; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Sofia and Sidney.

Interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.Memorials may be made to St. Theresa's Church.
