He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa; his stepfather King MacLeod; his sister Sandra Marshall; and his parents-in-law, Peggy and John Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Stephen and John; his grandson Landon; his siblings, Dianne (Brian Shaheen), Gwen (David Farquhar), David MacLeod and Kenny MacLeod (Sharon); and his brother-in-law Robert Marshall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
