He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Ramsey and Jean Ramsey. He is survived by: his sister Jenny Ramsey (Scott) of Medicine Hat; his niece Erin; his aunt Margaret Ramsey of North Sydney; and his uncles, Carl Ramsey and Glen Ramsey (Royce).
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pier Community Funeral Home (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1).
Donations in memory of George may be made to Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton or the Canadian Cancer Society.
