He is survived by: his wife Beverley Devereaux (Libbey); his children, Chris and Erin Devereaux (Abby); his siblings, Kay Gallivan (Roy), Shirley Holland (Charlie) and Susan Steele (Gordie); his niece Wendy McPhee; his siblings-in-law, Robert Libbey (Kim), Adrian Libbey and Donna Pettigrew (Blaine); his friends, Margie and John Theakston; and his goddaughters, Natalie Longmire and Laura Mulvihill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pier Community Funeral Home (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1).
