He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Edwin Snow; and his parents-in-law, Henry Poswiata Sr. and Mary Poswiata. He is survived by: his wife Christine Snow (Poswiata); his children, Laurie MacKinnon (Scott), Brian and Brent; his grandchildren, Andrea, Haley (Raymond), Brian and Ellie; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Charlotte; his siblings, Larry (Darlene), Beverly Hayes (Tommy), Kansas (Judy) and Gloria Lush; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Lotherington (Kenny), Henry Poswiata (Debbie) and Michael Poswiata (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry's memory may be made to Palliative Care, the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, or a charity of one's choice.
