It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Macneil (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 10, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael John and Mary Sarah MacNeil; and his nephew Gary Mills. He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Mills (Ted), Marlene (late Sheldon Pearson), Allan (Sadie), Joey, Michael (Lorna), Bernie (Aileen), Reg (Theresa), Leonard (Louise) and Gordie (Michelle); and his pet Rascal. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews.

Donations in memory of Gerard may be made to the Cancer Patient Care Fund or the SPCA Cape Breton.
