“Kathy, We were beyond saddened to hear of Gilbert’s passing. We never ran into Gilbert that he didn’t give us something to laugh about. What a wonderful man. Roy used to say to him that he made the rest of the men in the neighborhood look bad because he put his Christmas lights up in November. His response would be if you want to put your Christmas lights up in December and freeze go ahead. So many children were cared for and loved by you and Gilbert. You were were always together. ❤️ A true love story.”
