She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys MacLennan (Vatcher) and Roderick MacLennan of South Bar; her husband Edwin Tolan; her daughter Heather; her siblings, Ward MacLennan and Janet Weiland; her son-in-law Brian Carucci; and her sister-in-law Louise MacLennan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Cabanero (Levyn) of Alabama and Joanne Carucci of Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Christina Cabanero of Alabama, Amanda Carucci of Rhode Island and Reagan Carucci of Connecticut. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Alban's Anglican Church or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
