He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oakley and Mary Oakley; and his wife Carol. He is survived by: his children, Tony (Maria), Scott (Jamie), Shawn (Melissa), Christy (Doug), Christopher (Sabine) and Matthew (Ashley); his siblings, Dana (Marie), John (Marie), Keith (Anne), Brenda (Paul Curry), Ann (Allan Nicholson) and Kim (Brian MacIver); Susie Publicover.

Donations in loving remembrance can be submitted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SPCA.
