She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Marie Parago (Sampson) and James Cornelius Sampson; her husband Jim Dixon; her grandson Michael; and her siblings, Edmond Sampson, Russell Sampson, Yvonne MacLellan, Betty Chipman and Martha Sampson.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Dixon (Barb), Leslie Dixon (Loretta) and Kim Hillier (Johnglenn); her grandchildren, Nicole, Natasha, Stacey, Ann Marie, Adam, Nick and Brittany; her sister Pat Parago; her half-brothers, Brian and Clifford Sampson; her close friends, Shirley and Reg Samson; and her godsons, Craig, Gavin Samson and John Landry. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
