He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hill and Olive Hill (Grantmyre); his wife Georgia (Ferguson); his son-in-law Neil Smith; and his siblings, Harry Hill, James "Jim" Neal, Calvin "Buck" Neal, Glenmore Neal, Eddie Morrison, Alex "Buster" Morrison and Oretha Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Billy (Liz), David, Fraser (Vince), Valley Mills, George (Cheryl), South Bar, Debbie, Wendy and Point Edward; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie (Jonas Cramm), Matthew, Shauna, Tyson Hill, Arianna and Megan Smith; and his sister Muriel Deveaux. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the An Cala, Palliative Care Unit or the Feral and Abandoned Cat Society.
