Janet Vane (Wambolt) Doran Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2021, at the age of 95, Janet Vane (Wambolt) Doran of Sydney, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wambolt and Mae Wambolt (Beach); her husband William; her children, Eileen Nicholson and William; her sons-in-law, Patrick Fitzgerald and Frederick Pope; and her great grandchild Vincent Nugent.

She is survived by: her children, Charles, George (Jane), Ray (Catherine), Richard, Ida (Robert), Erna, Shirley Laffin (Jack), Margaret Fitzgerald, Charlotte Pyne (Keith) and Charlene Pope; her siblings, Gordon Wambolt (Monica) and Velzora Campbell; and her sister-in-law Annabelle Wambolt. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral for the late Janet Doran will be held at a later date with interment to take place Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
