It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Matilda Madore (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lahanky (Baryluk) and Paul Lahanky; her husband Donald Madore; her siblings, Anne (Fred Mills) and Walter Lahanky; and her siblings-in-law, Gloria (Davis), Josephine (Cole), Theresa (MacKinnon), Fred Madore, Dr. Mike Madore, Dr. Pat Madore and Eddie Madore.
She is survived by: her son Paul Madore (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Chris (Amanda) and Alberta; her great grandchild Addy; her son Dean Madore (Debbie); and her granddaughter Sarah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
