“Mr. Curtis was a very kind man and a wonderful teacher. I was in his English class in grade 11 at Reserve District High School and I enjoyed every minute of it. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make the class laugh no matter what we were doing. He also made Glee Club an enjoyable experience for us. To his wife and family, I offer my sincere condolences on his passing. May God give you peace and comfort at this sad time”

“Sincere condolences to all mr Curtis’ family. He was a teacher of mine at Reserve District High in Reserve Mines. But he also directed our Glee club with Elmer Sims and was a tremendous influence on us. He taught us songs and music i’m Sure we would never have been exposed to , all Broadway and old spirituals that I remember to this day. And that was many years ago. May he Rest In Peace and May your memories of his spirit stay with you forever.”
