He was predeceased by: his parents, Christina King (Gillis) and Harold King; his former wife Ann Sharon McIntyre; and his siblings, Reginald, Margaret and Patricia (Steele).
He is survived by: his children, Margaret, Christiana, Michael (Clover) and Madeline; his grandsons, Augustine, Beckett and Maximilian; his girlfriend Tanya Allison; and his siblings, Harold, Robert, Paul and Joan. He is also survived by many friends, cousins, siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church (6903 Mumford Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2H4). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Parish (1135 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L3). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Windsor Elms Village.
