She was predeceased by: her parents, David Timmons and Rose Timmons (Henderson); her husband Archie; and her siblings, Raymond Timmons, Margaret O'Neil and Muriel Agnes "Boody" Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen (Bob Fitzgerald) and Daryl (Coxheath); her grandson Joey; and her brother David Timmons. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the SPCA Cape Breton.
