He was predeceased by: his parents, George McLeod and Mary McLeod (Kyte); his former wife Beverly (Binns); his son Peter; his brother-in-law Donnie MacLeod; and his parents-in-law, Eugene Binns, Cecil and Evelyn French.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine; his sons, Gerard (Shelly), Patrick (Ceildh), David Allen (Heidi) and Donnie (Tracy); his sisters, Jocelyn and Jane Libbus (Robert); his grandchildren, Peter, Landon, Wyatt, Cody (Savannah), Mary, Nathan, Owen, Mallory and Chelsea; his mother-in-law Gina Binns; and his siblings-in-law, Curt Binns, Bob Binns (Justine), Reg Binns (Cindy), Anna Travis (Roger), Kathy Hood (Lindsay), April Britten (David), Debbie Lessie (John) and David French (Mary). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (1135 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L3).
