He was predeceased by: his father Malcolm MacDonald (Mackie); his brother Master Corporal Robert MacDonald; his uncles, Rev. James Gordon MacDonald (Evie) and Rev. J. Fraser MacDonald; his aunt Patsy (Don Morris); and his grandparents, John A. MacDonald, Annie MacDonald (Gordon), Bert and Ella Sparling (Tutty).
He is survived by: his mother Norma MacDonald (Sparling); his sisters, Gayle MacDonald and Laurie MacCuish (MacDonald); his brother-in-law Rick MacCuish; his siblings' children, Ainsley MacCuish, Amanda, Bradley MacDonald, Eris MacDonald Rahn and Breagh MacDonald Rahn; and his aunt Kathy MacDonald.
