He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Collins and Agnes Collins (Black); his children, Catherine Anne and Ron; and his siblings, Helen, Josephine and Harry.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Collins (Kennedy); his grandchildren, Lauren, Logan, Emily, Ashley, Jennifer, Chris, Ava and Jonah; and his sister Isobel. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
