He is survived by: his wife Helen (MacIntyre); his children, Lynne (Vince) and Mark (Noreen); his grandchildren, Chelsea MacPherson, Connor MacPherson (Sara) and Matthew MacLellan (Nicole); and his siblings, Mary, Nora, Carmel, Elizabeth and Louis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton, or to a charity of choice.
