She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Barrett and Mary Barrett (MacIsaac); and her brothers, Donnie, Wayne, Dennis and Bobby.

She is survived by : her husband John T. MacDonald; her children, Darlene MacDonald (Doug), Denise King (Blair), Glen MacDonald (Frances) and Pam Chisholm (Len); her grandchildren, Barrett MacDonald (Stacy), Brendon MacDonald (Chelsea), Melissa Dumontier (Kevin), Michael Goodwin (Jenn), Mitch Goodwin, Breanne Confiant (PJ), Alicia Pyke (Tyler), Cameron, Liam and Ryan Chisholm; her great grandchildren, Clark, Lucy, Clara, Jack, Brooks, Peyton, Leo, Nora and Ben; her siblings, Mary Warner and Ross Barrett (Valerie); and her siblings-in-law, Hugh MacDonald (Charlene), Joan MacLean, Anne Marie Gillis, Bernadette Gauthier (Lucien), Helen Nelson (Chuck), Margie Mullins, Elaine Fischer (Dave) and Mary Clare Langer (Peter).
