She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Margettie (Carew) and Stan Margettie; her boyfriend Wayne Power; and her son-in-law Jonathan McGuigan. She is survived by: her daughter Lindsay (Michael Griffiths); her pet Daisy; her siblings, Phyllis, Sandra, Deborah Snow (Michael), Carol Lewis (Joe), Robert (Lolita), Louie (Linda) and Darren Desmond; and her stepmother Marie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the All Faith Chapel (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1). A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
