It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Rutherford (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Christopher and Trevor; his grandparents, Gordon, Catherine Thompson, JB and Helen Rutherford; and his uncles, Michael Thompson and Gerald.
He is survived by: his parents, Walter Rutherford and Cathy Rutherford; his aunts and uncles, Jeanette of Sydney, Margie Thompson of Sydney, Gordie Thompson (Tina), Darren Thompson (Trish), David Rutherford (Brenda) and Gordie Rutherford (Vivian); his cousins, Hannah (Graham), Michael, Emma, Matthew and Geoffrey; and also, Alexander and Catherine.
Memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or a charity of choice.
