He is survived by: his children, Kelly, Darren (Lauren Koval) and Robert (Melanie Hazelwood) of Kingston, NS; his grandsons, Wylie and Ryder Bonaparte; and his wife Celtic.

“So sorry to read of Mikey's passing; his family lived in the same apt bldg. He's lucky we didn't know one of his names was Napoleon. haha He'd beat my brother (who was 2 years older than I). so I'd go after Mikey and beat him up because I knew he wouldn't fight a girl. We'd always run into each other at Sobey's, hug and talk for ages about old times. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew him. Please know that I share your grief at this sad time.”
