It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael William Kauffman (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred "Bill" Kauffman and Jane Kauffman (Murray); and his siblings, Geraldine Flynn and Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Heather Ann (Coombs); his sons, Christopher of Howie Centre and Richard of Howie Centre; his siblings, Nancy Maxwell (Gary), Sydney Forks, Jude Kane of Brampton, ON, Connie Ross, Whitney Pier and David (Sydney); and his pet Jack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1452 Kings Rd, Sydney River, NS B1S1E6).
Donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Big Pond.
