He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Melski and Jennie Melski (Kiec); his siblings, Leona Hamper, Terrance, Ronald'Butch', Donnie and Joseph Melski; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Melski and James Hamper.

He is survived by: his wife Ursula Melski (Woloszyn); his daughters, Janice and Ursula (David); his grandson Jacob; his siblings, Anne Stephens (Charles), Tony and Robert Melski (Marsha); and his in-laws, Elizabeth, Selina Melski, Janek, Heniek and Ella Woloszyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
