It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Erickson (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat McIntyre and Viola McIntyre; her sons, Patrick Erickson and Michael Erickson; her siblings, Mary, Marina, Viola, Pat and Peyton; and her son-in-law Andrew Hill.

She is survived by: her husband Leif'Doods'Erickson; her daughters, Ina Globe (Richard) and Lynda Hill; her daughter-in-law Annette Erickson; her siblings, Elizabeth, Thomas, Janice, Cecil and Jimmy; and her grandchildren, Barb, Jennifer, Jeff, Dylan, Emily, Erin, Patrick and Katie. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
