She was predeceased by: her father Alonzo Lucas; her husband Lemuel Skeete; her grandmother Olga; her children, Florence, Jonathan and Melvin; and her siblings, Alonzo Crawford, William'Bill'Lucas, Ismay Innis, Ethelston'Luke'Lucas, Ruth Lucas and Naomi Austin.
She is survived by: her mother Miriam Lucas (Weeks); her children, Lemuel, Darcy (Rita) and Carlton (Melodie); and her siblings, Elease Smuk and Gideon Lucas (Sylvia). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the All Faith Chapel (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Olga may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Breton or a charity of your choice.
