Phyllis Barbara (Jardine) Walker Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Barbara (Jardine) Walker (Sydney, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Walker; her parents, David Jardine and Irene Jardine (Lovell); her sisters, Jean Matthews (George), Marion Andrews and Shirley Jardine; her half-sister Trudy Young; and her brother Rollie Jardine.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Poswiata (Michael) of Elmsdale, NS, Brian Walker (Darlene) of Sydney, NS and Shane Walker (Pauline) of Coxheath, NS.; her grandchildren, Justin Poswiata (Kathryn) of Lower Sackville, NS, Lindsay Whynot (Corey) of Windsor, NS, David Walker (Katie) of Mirror, AB, Laura Walker of Dartmouth, NS, Kevin of Sydney, NS., Kyle of Sydney, NS., Nicholas of Sydney, NS. and Avery Walker of Sydney, NS.; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Shylo Whynot of Windsor, NS, Coralee and Daisy Lou Walker of Mirror, Alberta; her siblings, Everett Jardine (Shirley) of Bathurst, NB and Joan Kell of Ontario; and her brother-in-law Frank Andrews of Westmount. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
