She was predeceased by: her husband George; her son Laurie; her parents, Ophelia Nickerson and Elmer Nickerson; and her siblings, Joyce Watson, Clifton and William Nickerson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Princess Maggie and Love Bug Nikolas; her daughter Kathie (Mike); her grandchild Nikolas; her nephew Brian Watson; and her grandchildren, Chad and Tara. She is also survived by brothers, sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
