It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Aboud (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Aboud and Fanny Aboud (Libbus). He is survived by: his children, Jenny MacLean (Dan), Kelsey Muise (Keith) and Matthew; his siblings, Charles (Wendy), Sharon (late Rick Giacomini) and Heather (Ed); his grandchildren, Autumn, Damien, Jensen and Parker; his siblings' children, David, Karen, Nicole, Crystal and Katelynn; his friend Gavin; and the mother of his children Betty MacDonald (Billy).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
