He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Lillian Joseph and Randle; his father-in-law David Joseph; his wife Mary Carol (Holloran); his stepgrandchild Robbie; his friend Jack Gardner; his son Dr. Rob Joseph (Mary Ruth); his grandchildren, Eric and Caroline; his stepchildren, Dwayne Nichol (Barbara), Sydney, Bradley Nichol and Natalie Best (Chris); his children-in-law, Bernie Barrie (Coxheath) and Juanita Costello (Sydney); his siblings, Mary Helen Murray (Pugwash), James (Marlene), Hamilton, David (Karen) and Stephenville; his brother-in-law Gary Tomada (Albert Bridge); his stepdaughter Donna Barrie; his sisters, Sandra "Sandy" Joseph and Trudy Joseph; and his friends, Peter Hanna, Tommy Gill and Jack Gardiner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Church (234 Seaview St, Glace Bay, NS B1A1P6).
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
