It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Macaulay (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 14, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" and Jean Baggs (Drover) of Highland Street; her spouse Dougal MacAulay; and her siblings, William "Bill", Melvin, Harold, Ella Barkhouse (Ray) and Vera Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Jean MacIntyre (Dennis), South Bar, Shirley MacAulay, Eleanor Nolan (Gary), Dartmouth MacAulay and Dougal MacAulay (Darlene); and her siblings, Marilyn Hare, Lillian McCormack (Bill), Dartmouth, Christina Bradbury, Halifax, Marion Pye (Jerry), Ottawa, Irene Reid (John), Jean Winters, Glace Bay and Allister Baggs (Linda). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the An Cala, Palliative Care Unit.
