He is survived by: his siblings, Mark, Charles, Harry (Bernice), Douglas, Henry (Annabelle) and Edith; and his caregiver Susie Hayward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Scott may be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cape Breton or a charity of one's choice.
