He was predeceased by: his mother Bernadette Rose (Joe); his grandparents, Frank, Rita Joe, Mary Ann Rose (Simon) and Robert A. Rose; his uncles, Robert Rose, Thomas "Tommy" Rose and Francis "Junior" Joe; and his godfather Basil Joe.

He is survived by: his father Stephen Rose, Sr.; his sons, Ethan of Sydney, Ronin of Sydney, Callum (Sara Planetta) of Sydney and Wolfgang (Melanie Sue Smith) of Sydney; his siblings, Sherry Rose-Morgan (Darren), Richard (Teilah Bishop) of Sydney and Brad of Calgary, AB; his nephews, Xander and Wesley; his godmother Beverly Marshall; and also Katie Laybolt of Sydney. He is also survived by uncles, cousins, best friends and extended family and friends.
