It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Francis Corbett of Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Corbett and Margaret Corbett (Hollahan); his uncle Michael Hollohan; and his siblings, John Corbett and Joan MacKeigan.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnitta (Mansfield); his daughter Amanda; his grandchildren, Austin, Brett, Emma and Aubreigh; his sister Ruth; his sibling's children, Audra and Derrick Abbott; and his sisters-in-law, Paulette Corbett, Judy Nichols (late Wes), Phyllis Bennett (late Wayne), Rosie Theriault (late Emile) and Kathy Hindy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).
