It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Smith (Tantallon, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Smith and Bertha Smith (Trueman); and his siblings, Delmore, Roy, Maynard, Garvie, Thelma, Marjorie and Lena.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth (Boutilier); his children, Danny Jr. (Tara), Lewis Lake, Karen Snelgrove (Jeff) of Tantallon and Charlene Arsenault (Guy) of Stillwater Lake; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Brian, Aaryn, Janica and Connor; his great grandchildren, Mariah and Ryder; and his siblings, Cyril of Tantallon and Evelyn Rafuse.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson's Society of Canada.
