He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland and Ada (Smith); his son Donnie'Junior'; his siblings, Brecken and Joan (Perry); and his former life partner Charlotte Doubleday.

He is survived by : his siblings, Albert (Ginny) and Bertha Slaunwhite (Ken); his daughters, Debbie (Ronnie), Laura, Linda (Steve), Nancy (Eric) and Tammy (Greg); his grandchildren, Christopher, Chelsea, David, Amanda, Andy, Katie, Samantha, Carter and Colby; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Spencer, Oliver, August, Henry and Charlie.
