He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Joseph and Hazel Scharf (Epps). He is survived by : his wife Deborah (Oakes); his child Jaime Riley (Cory); his grandchildren, Reinen and Asia; his daughter Holly Sinclair (Tyson); his grandchildren, Cash and Bodhi; his son Graham Scharf (Jamie); his grandchildren, Maya, Ronan and Jesse; and his siblings, Brenda Gordeau (Steve) and Philip Scharf (Joanne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Shore Recreation Centre would be appreciated.
