She was predeceased by : her parents, Aubrey Rushton and Annie Rushton (Miller); and her siblings, Aubrey, Frank, Bill and Elizabeth Byers.

She is survived by : her sisters, Edna Langille and Florence Cochrane (Wayne). She is also survived by seven nieces and several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Coulter's Funeral Home (48 Riverside Dr, Tatamagouche, NS B0K1V0).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or any charitable organization.
