She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Blenkhorn and Levita Blenkhorn (Fisher); her husbands, Kenny Wilson and Walter Arseneault; and her siblings, Mary Halloway, Dave, Cecil, Walter, Kenny and Edward.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Tattrie (Frank) of Bass River, Daniel of Tatamagouche and Glen of Tatamagouche; and her sisters, Roxella McGill of Alberta and Stella Kaulback (Carl) of Portapique. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Lockerby Memorial Cemetery or a charity of one's choice.
