He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley and Myrna Nadine Cooley (Ede); his uncles, Myles, Dale, Larry, Kenneth, Wayne Ede, Raymond and Douglas Cooley; his cousin Josh Cooley; and his father-in-law Robert Hamper.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer (Hamper); his children, Emily Cooley and Ryan Cooley; his brother Dennis Cooley (Virginia); his nieces and nephews, Liley, Jordan, Tyler and Kingston; his mother-in-law Anna Lee Hamper (Kenzieville); his brother-in-law Jody Hamper (Tracy); his nieces and nephews, Marlee and Madison; his brothers-in-law, Kenzieville and Rodney Hamper (Meagan); his nieces and nephews, Alexis, Zachary and Nicholas of Petitcodiac, N. B.; and his aunts and uncles, Donna Hutchinson, Edna Rapski, Jenniffer Lachance, Lorelei Desbiens (Roger), Arlene Ede, Sharon Clements, Sheldon Ede (Alta), Kathy Cooley (Vernon Palmer), Julie Cooley (Ken Upham), Lynn Cooley, Lorraine Cooley, Abercrombie, Gregory Cooley (Isabel) and Michael Cooley (Joan Riley).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3).
