We announce the death of Judy Ann Cameron of Thorburn, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 85. Judy Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur MacDonald and Isobel MacDonald; her husband Roy; her sisters, Vicky Cyrenne and Faye Potvin; and her daughter-in-law Jill Cameron.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Cameron (Anne O'Connor) of Maclellan's Brook, Kathy Fleet (Bill Wells), Sandi Smith (Andrew) and Beth Ann Cameron; her grandchildren, Chase, Bryden (Ella), Matt (Cassidy), Embry, Anna, Maya, Alex (Sienna), Elliott and Ashlyn; her great grandchildren, Finn, Layla and Willa; her siblings, Barb Cameron and Bob MacDonald; and her pet Hollie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hw Angus Funeral Home (256 King St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4X8). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Union Presbyterian Church (745 Marsh Rd, Thorburn, NS B0K1W0).
